We need to fix our eyes on Jesus, especially upon the glory of his love. Jesus' love towards his people is not absent in our trials, but is demonstrated through the trials, for his love is far greater than the self-oriented views of love common in our culture.

God often works in such a way allow things to get so hopeless so that there seems to be no hope. And yet, God is always working out His purposes. Our call is to trust Him in the meantime.
