“The High Calling of Being a Child of God”

One of the most important things we as Christians must do is remember our identity in Christ—specifically that we are beloved children of God—and then live in light of that reality. In our passage, John gives 4 exhortations to us as God’s children to live in light of that high calling.

Jesus gives three words of encouragement to strengthen you as you long for the presence of Christ.
