Sunday School Classes

A time of Bible study and fellowship. On January 6, 2019, we will begin our new study, “Foundations of Grace: Old Testament” by Steven Lawson. Understanding the doctrines of grace provides a clearer picture of God’s sovereignty, mercy, and majesty. From the lawgiver Moses to the Apostle John, and from the early church fathers to modern defenders of the faith, there has marched onto the stage of human history a long line of godly men, a triumphant parade of spiritual stalwarts who have upheld the doctrines of grace. In this book, Dr. Steven J. Lawson takes readers on a heart-stirring survey of the Scriptures and their teaching on God’s way of salvation. Lawson demonstrates that far from being a sixteenth century invention, the doctrines of grace are the clear teaching of the Bible in its entirety. From Genesis to Revelation, the Scriptures declare the message of God’s sovereign grace in salvation.

We also have separate Sunday School classes for children, age 4 through grade 12. Nursery is available for children ages 0-4.

Morning Worship Service

Our corporate gathering where we worship through praise songs, prayer, giving of our tithes and offerings, Bible reading, the Lord’s Supper (monthly), and preaching. Our pastor, Jerry Scheumann, is currently preaching through the different Psalms.

Nursery is available for children through age 4.

Sunday Evening Service

A casual, family-oriented time of praise songs and Bible study. We are currently going through a study on the book of Proverbs.

Mid-Week Prayer & Study
Every Wednesday
Fellowship Hall

We believe an important aspect of the worship of the church is regular corporate prayer (Acts 2:42). We spend a brief while in singing and Bible study, and then devote our time to prayer.

If you have prayer requests, you may submit them on our Contact page.

All men, from youth to retirees, are welcome to join us at the church for a great time of fellowship and study. Our men’s fellowship starts on Saturday, October 6 at 8:00 am at the church and will continue meeting until mid-2019. We begin with breakfast then move into our study and close with a time of prayer.  Our study this year is a book entitled Disciplines of a Godly Man by R. Kent Hughes. Hughes offers hard-hitting discussion on marriage, fatherhood, friendship, purity, integrity, leadership, prayer, ministry and more.

Ladies' Bible Study
2nd & 4th Tuesday/month*
Church Library

We welcome any woman or girls to fellowship with us as we seek to encourage one another in our walk with Christ. Beginning on Tuesday, October 9 and continuing throughout the school year. We will be going through the book entitled The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges. God commands us, “Be holy, for I am holy,” yet how are we supposed to go about that in our daily life?  What is our part in holiness? Bridges helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do—and what we should take responsibility for ourselves. As you deepen your relationship with God, learn more about His character, and understand the Holy Spirit’s role in holiness, your spiritual growth will mature

* Men’s and Ladies’ studies are held during the school year, with a break in the summer.
