In the 4th commandment, God declares His crown rights over the way we spend our time. And we should not see this commandment as burdensome. It is a good command from our good God who desires our welfare and to teach us of the true rest that is found only in Christ.

The glory revealed in Jesus’ healing of the invalid is that he is the Son of God who does the very work of God and is therefore equal with God. Our right response is to honor Jesus.
