“The Grave Danger of Unbelief”

At the end of Jesus' earthly ministry, we see that the general response from the Jews was one of unbelief. But that does not minimize Christ's glory at all, but highlights the horror of unbelief. John gives 4 warnings of the grave danger of continuing in unbelief.

It is not enough to believe that Jesus is a prophet, one like God, a good teacher, or our co-pilot; we must believe that he is the Son of God. Jesus gives us clear testimony that he is God, and how we are to rightly approach him.
