As Saul crushes Nahash the Ammonite, brings salvation for the people of God, and establishes his kingdom, we see a shadow of the far greater salvation that comes in Jesus Christ, the seed of the woman who crushes the head of the serpent. Rejoice in Christ,who has crushed the serpent, brought a mighty salvation, and established His Kingdom on high.
