As the Bread of Life, Jesus is the one truly sent from heaven, he gives life where there was only death, and he alone satisfies our soul's longings. Our response should be to go to Christ, partaking of him by faith day by day, and so find life and satisfaction in him.

If we see who Jesus truly is in the feeding of the 5,000, it affects what our focus in life is to be: we must not labor for perishing food bt rather for incorruptible food.
