“The Covenant Friendship of David and Jonathan”

We see four components of covenant-keeping friendship between Jonathan and David which foreshadow the far greater covenant friendship of the Greater Son of David, Jesus, toward His people. Knowing the covenant love of Christ is the believer's security amidst life's troubles.
